Paramount Pictures is already planning the Star Trek sequel and J.J. Abrams will produce it. But there’s no decision if he’ll be directing.

The awkward encounter was the first time legendary Star Trek actor Leonard Nimoy had met Zachary Quinto, the actor who was to play his most famous character, Spock, in the new movie version of the television show.

MTV.com has received from Paramount some Star Trek trading cards that includes new images. In one, we can see a glimpse of Zachary Quinto giving the fabled Vulcan salute to none other than Leonard Nimoy.
