‘American Horror Story’ Special Screening

Zach on set of Star Trek sequel

Zach was caught on set of the long awaited Star Trek sequel, in a volcano suit.

According to a source on the set, Quinto first rehearsed the scene with a Spock stunt double before being rigged to a wire and being lifted ten storeys high.

He was then dropped at a high rate of speed as if he was falling in front of a green screen, which will show the required scene when the film hits cinemas next May 17.

In the scene Spock is wearing the ‘Volcano Suit’ and carrying an unknown piece of equipment with the Starfleet emblem.

Today the first (unofficial) on location photos from the set of JJ Abrams Star Trek sequel have emerged. They feature Zachary Quinto, Zoe Saldana as well as Benedict Cumberbatch. The following photos come from On Location News (via MTV) and they were shot on location in Los Angeles.
