May5| Scans & Ellen screencaptures

Just found another brazilian magazine on stand today, and scanned to you. It’s “Set”, the most famous movie related magazine here (and, unfortunally, may being cancelled), with 8 pages and interviews with JJ Abrams, Chris, Zach, Zoe and John Cho.

And once again thanks to Gertie, we have high quality screencaptures of Zach’s participation on Ellen Degeneres Show. The clip will be up later.

May2| Brazilian magazine scans

Here in Brazil we’re experiencing a Wolverine overdose. All magazines are bringing us with lots of our (at least mine) favorite X-Man.
But I was lucky today, and found two magazines with a good coverage on Star Trek.
Sci-Fi News has two interviews, with JJ Abrams and Zachary Quinto, plus information about the movie. Pipoca Moderna has incredible 11 pages and cover. Unfortunally for those that don’t understand portuguese, there’s no english translation for the articles. Not yet. But I’ll try to find time (or someone to do it for us) and will post it in the press section, okay?

Also, there’s a new video added to our archive, a 7 min video with behind the scenes and interviews, which you can watch here.

Update: Just to inform that scans of current issue of Entertainment Weekly were added.

May1| Magazine alert: Entertainment Weekly

May 08, 2009Zachary as Spock is on the cover of Entertainment Weekly. There are two covers this week – one featuring Zach, and one featuring Chris Pine and Zoe Saldana. This is Zachary’s fourth cover for EW.

I’ll posting scans soon, but for now you can read the article in our press archive:

Everyone is right where they should be. Chekov and Sulu are manning the navigation controls, Uhura’s monitoring communications, and pointy-eared Mr. Spock is hovering over his science station. But standing on the set in front of the ship’s blank viewscreen (planets and stars will be digitally added later) is an all-powerful being capable of destroying the U.S.S. Enterprise and the entire United Federation of Planets. Or, for that matter, saving it. No, it’s not Khan. It’s a guy in chunky eyewear peering into a video monitor.
