Emmanuelle Chriqui, Rosemarie DeWitt, Mamie Gummer, Carla Gugino, Ron Livingston, Chris Messina, Zachary Quinto, Michael Stuhlbarg, and Jennifer Westfedlt are set to perform in LOVE, to be held on April 19 at The Angel Orensanz Foundation. This evening of short plays on love will benefit WET Productions. Additional performers will be announced at a later date.
In addition to the performance, producer Lynda Obst will receive the first annual “We Empower Together Award,” which honors a woman in the media whose accomplishments have paved the way for other women to succeed. Nora Ephron will present the honor. An additional award will be given to HBO vice president Maria Zuckerman, recognizing her achievements in producing groundbreaking female-driven projects.
WET Productions is a non-profit created to empower women and girls by producing media that challenges female stereotypes and advocates for equality.

Dana Delany, Ted Danson, Mary Steenburgen, Zachary Quinto and other stars of stage and screen will appear in “Hearts on Fire,” a one-night-only fundraiser for the Ojai Playwrights Conference. The Saturday event will start with a reading of scenes from selected plays at 5:30 p.m. in the auditorium at Matilija Junior High School (703 El Paseo Road). It continues at 7:30 p.m. with a sit-down dinner and live auction at St. Thomas Aquinas Parish (185 St. Thomas Drive). Tickets for both the reading and the post-performance gala are sold out.
