Before the weekly Heroes update, a little bit of awesomeness. The caps are, unfortunately, low quality but I PROMISE to replace it as soon I have access to a better video. While you wait, enjoy it!
Edit: As promised, caps were replaced for better ones, but the video needed to be deleted.
For three days, SCI-FI Now will be publishing some Star Trek’s behind the scenes curiosities. Yesterday started with some make ups including our favorite Vulcan. I mean, Zachary’s test for Spock ears. I’ve posted the pictures in our gallery, but you can view the whole article (and pictures) at Sci-Fi Now website.

I would like to thank, once again, Andreas for capping the movie in High-Def for us. Her caps are awesome!
Yeah, yeah, I know. We’re almost getting the DVD on stores and there’s people doing reviews. But this it’s funny, I though it would be good to read:
I have to outright apologize to J.J Abrams’ version of Star Trek after refusing to see it, due to my dislike of Zachary Quinto as an actor. Considering how dreadful I thought he was on Heroes, and the fact that he looks like he could murder me in my sleep, I was skeptical of him playing Spock. Now after seeing Star Trek, I have to respectfully take that back because he did a fantastic portrayal of Spock, to the point where I was rooting for him a lot. I must say, I became quite a fan. At a Dragon Con 2009 panel discussion, Leonard Nimoy revealed that he will not appear in the follow-up to J.J. Abrams’ Star Trek. Appearing with William Shatner, Nimoy also took the opportunity to razz Shatner about his apparent disinterest in the movie.
“There are no plans for me to return for the second movie. I think the Spock character is very well established as portrayed by Zachary Quinto. And I think if you saw the movie Bill, you’d say the same of Chris Pine.“
The nominees for this year’s Scream Awards are in, and Star trek got several nominations, including “The Ultimate Scream”, “Best Science Fiction Movie”, “Best Director”, “Best Villain” to Eric Bana, “Best Actress” to Zoe Saldana and “Best Actor” to our beloved couple Zach and Chris:

Actor Zachary Quinto, who played Spock in Star Trek, said that while the script for the sequel to the film isn’t finished, the screenwriting process is already underway.
“It’s definitely happening,” Quinto told Newsarama when we spoke to him about the movie. “I know that Bob [Orci] and Alex [Kurtzman] and Damon [Lindelof] and J.J. [Abrams] have been working and talking and developing stories. I don’t think there’s a script yet. I know there’s not a script yet. But they’re working on it and they’re talking about it.”
The actor, who was at San Diego Comic-Con to promote his production company’s foray into comic books with Archaia, said Star Trek filmmakers are taking their time to put together the next film and make sure it’s right, which is fine by him.
“I think the great thing about the experience with the first film is that it really was an organic evolution. And I think that it was rooted in a real sense of creative collaboration and excitement and enthusiasm and support. And I think they want to make sure any subsequent film is rooted in that same territory, in that same landscape,” he said. “So I don’t think anybody’s rushing anything. And I think that’s actually really smart. And I have implicit trust in all those guys creatively and professionally.”
