Zach on ‘Heroes’ Comeback

BuzzFeed’s Kate Arthur tweeted about a question she did to Zach while in Sundance regarding Heroes Reborn and, as expected, Zach isn’t interested in being Sylar again.

As you may remember, during American Horror Story season two interviews he mentioned several times about his plans on not being stuck on ‘psycho‘ roles. So, coming back as Sylar would be everything he wouldn’t want. Check her tweet:

To date, Coleman (AKA Noah Bennett/HRG) is the only Heroes vet to commit to the revival. Zachary Levi, meanwhile, has signed on to play a new, unspecified role. Heroes Reborn is slated to premiere Summer 2015.

NBC to revive ‘Heroes’

NBC used Saturday’s primetime Olympics coverage to announce that Heroes is coming back with a new miniseries.

A press release was issued right after the commercial made the initial announcement on television.

Heroes Reborn is set to make its debut in 2015 as an “event miniseries” with original creator and executive producer Tim Kring in charge of its rebirth. The show has a 13-episode order.

“The enormous impact ‘Heroes’ had on the television landscape when it first launched in 2006 was eye-opening,” said NBC Entertainment President Jennifer Salke in a press release.

She continued, “Shows with that kind of resonance don’t come around often and we thought it was time for another installment. We’re thrilled that visionary creator Tim Kring was as excited about jumping back into this show as we were and we look forward to all the new textures and layers Tim plans to add to his original concept. Until we get closer to air in 2015, the show will be appropriately shrouded in secrecy, but we won’t rule out the possibility of some of the show’s original cast members popping back in.”

Right after, the official Heroes facebook published the announcement:

Trying to NOT get excited since Zach has stated before he won’t be up to a Heroes reboot. Let’s hope he changes his mind, since there’s no Heroes without Sylar.

Gallery Maintenance: Heroes Re-Added

So, I’m doing a huge maintenance in our gallery (believe me, it was really necessary), and I spent a lot of time trying to do in our current one. So, to save time and make things less complicated, I’ve installed a brand new gallery and will start moving all our files to it. There will be NO downtime, and while I’m doing it, I will add more files or replace the ones we currently have for better quality ones if it’s the case.

The first category moved it’s Heroes related. All promotional and screencaptures images are now located here and I will be doing the same to all images during the week. As soon the images are up in our new gallery, the previous categories will be deleted. Sorry for any inconvenience, but believe me, it’s a very needed move.

Heroes’s make-up artist, Wendi Lynn Allison about zach (and cast)

Wendi Lynn posted on her blog about the cancellation, and a few (and pretty) words about the cast. During this years we was always able to read Wendi Lynn posts and see her behind-the-scenes photos, so it’s touching (and quite sad) to read her goodbye post.

Zach: What can I say? He was always my shoulder. I think Zach listened to me a lot. We had many chats, a few downs, but mostly I became very attached to him as well and had many great conversations in between shooting scenes with him. A true talent and warm soul. He always could make me laugh with his tireless humor. So much fun we had with all the blood. Let’s also not forget Noah, he was our Trailer Mascot. 🙂 I love me “My Zach!”

Don’t cry because it’s over. Smile because it happened!

Zach about cancelling

chapter’s end…

the road ahead…

yesterday nbc announced that heroes is officially cancelled. as much as we have been aware of this possibility for a few weeks – it remains surreal to consider that the decision has been made. the action has been taken. and this chapter (or volume) is really over for all of us who worked on the show – and for all of you who watched it. i want to extend myself in a huge swell of gratitude to all of the fans. for investing in the stories we told. for engaging in the characters we created. and for standing by us through all the ups and downs of what was at times a rocky road. your commitment enriched the experience for all of us – and i know that we will always be grateful for your enthusiasm. it has been a true honor to share this time in my life with my amazing cast mates and our indomitable crew. i will certainly miss them most of all. the gift of working alongside such talented and inspiring people is something i will carry with me everywhere i go from here. and no matter where my work and my life take me – i will forever look back on heroes as the game changer. tim kring and the original creative team and writing staff took a risk on me to play gabriel gray when there was no reason to risk – besides their belief in me. they gave voice to a character that has challenged me and rewarded me beyond my wildest imagination. i will never forget that. it is humbling and deeply moving. so i thank them. and i thank you. and i assure you that while this door has closed – and as cliché as it sounds – others are flying open even as we speak. this is only the beginning in so many ways. and i hope that the fans i have made through this profound experience will follow me into many new and unchartered territories. i think the sarmy should lead the charge… it’s only fitting after all. thanks for your many well wishes and for your loyalty. let us move on with gratitude. that is exactly what i intend to do.

We’ll miss Sylar. But we’re sure a lot of great characters will appear for you, Zach.
